(modified and Republished 20080529) I kind of quit throwing parties a long time ago, yet i have thrown them ...forever... Sad thing is i both miss it and at the same time, i know why i got out of it. Here is the rub though. I started doing it cause i loved the music, quickly got into every other part of every aspect of it than that part and when i got out was still far removed from that side of it.
Now years after a failed marriage find myself staring it in the face yet again. Once a raver always a raver i guess. Wish i could find this trait in a super cool chick, i know they exist but not in my world, or at least not in the parts i am aware of. Hmm... how do we change that? Pulls me back into throwing parties on some level it seems.
Already have the nightclub style of living room, might as well slap up a stripper pole and turn on the amps i guess. Speaking of Parties, whaat is a party without beer, i have started brewing again and have a keg-r-ator to prove it, Posers! lol
I give everything away it seems, i have two really and i mean REALLY good recipies so far, im thinking of releasing them but under the GPL, which means if you use it and in anyway change it you must release your changes as soon as i you give away the first glass. How serious you might ask? Well Check back soon, cause we have a big surprise coming up soon!

I have a old Mambo site that i want to upgrade to 4.5 and then migrate it to Joomla but its running 4.0.12
and after messing with it for quite a while i finally solved it, here
is what i did.
I have edited the upgrade script "upgrade4011to4014.sql".
For some reason which im not going to even ask why , they never made from for 4012to4014, so i have made one for you.
running this will get you to 4.0.14 and then running the upgrade4014to45.sql will get up to 4.5 stable
BTW, i am reposting this to my site from the Mambo Forums because i dont think i can trust them to keep this around forever. I wrote this script 3 years ago and i have had it save me more than twice now. Mambo, i loved ya and used you for a long time but you refuse to keep older versions of your software available which are required to do this type of stuff so ill trust myself instead and migrate to Joomla while i still can.
I have started adding my own archive of older versions of Mambo in the Downloads section and i might even add files for Joomla just in case they do the same thing. Script is below.

**UPDATED VERSION 1.0.4 RELEASED** 20080626
MySQL Savior will backup ALL of your databases, if its setup with the root mysql username and password it will catch any new databases you add without you having to change anything at all. This is a Linux Bash Script to automate your database backups.
Fixed two purely cosmetic bugs, set it up so the resulting backup file is now compressed and added a bit more documentation.
We also now have a HOW-TO written explaining how to set it up for those who need it
To install this upload the file to your server and unzip it. The directions are in the README.TXT file.
Now the README.TXT file also explains how to setup ssh keys for those who need it. Mostly a cleanup release although the compression might solve some issues for some people who would time out or the file was to large to email.
We also added one new dependancy in resolving the one cosmetic bug, you need tree, tar, mutt and now sed installed for this to function. This release is a totally bug free release, even when run from the command line. Before some of the messages echoed back showed error for db named . did not exist and one other cosmetic error message. There now are no more errors. Although the two that did report before did not restrict functionality in any way. They just drove me nutz.
It can be downloaded here

One of the best "KILLER APPS" that linux offers is Amarok, yet one of the first things i always install on every linux box i build (which is a lot) is Gkrellm. For those who do not know about it, wake the fuck up. Its a resource monitor and usually its your first indicator that something is going wrong, it can be configured to monitor TONS of stuff, but sadly there really has not been any theme development on it in YEARS, even the software is not actively being developed anymore but in reality that is cool cause its already perfect and it uses virtually zero system resources yet in realtime it shows you what is going on in your system. But its themes kind of suck, SO i made one that at least i think doesn't suck. You can download it here.
To install it just download it to your /home/$USERNAME/.gkrellm2/themes
folder and run this command
tar -zxvf teknotuck.tar.gz then configure Gkrellm to show that theme.
Enjoy!
