ImageWell last year i went for a fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion for the Marijuana Policy Project, honestly it could have been for the "Hello Kitty" Rescue Effort, i was going to the PLAYBOY MANSION!

Had a good time, got Quite drunk, yet only have a handful of usable pictures to show for it. I tried last year and this year to get some friends to go but the only person who stepped up to the plate (Both Times) was a friend of mines girlfriend, Sothavy.

This time around, ill have great pictures and should have lots of them too! WhooHU!! Smile and say cheese people, cause this time around. I am walking out with great pictures... Hundreds of them, I'm planning on making up for last years poor quality this time around. Pictures are now up and showing at www.ganjapages.com

Micheal Dell running Ubuntu? damn!

I deal with computers all day long, i hate windows and at some point you have just had enough. I go nuts supporting windows, not to say things are easier in linux. While i can do anything with linux anyone would need, the same goes for windows. The part that as a geek really drives you nuts is the lack of transparency of what is really happening deep inside windows.

Its a secret, sure if you pay enough money you can see Mr Wizard running the under the guise of mayor of OZ. Geeks hate windows cause its a pain to support, at least with linux we can see way WAY deep into the rabbit hole. Sorry but the analogy fits.

So tonight as I'm getting home from a long day of business meetings with companies who are so clearly lined up to make billions in the near future and others who are standing on a cash cow and to stupid to see what is possible. I find myself shocked with a story about Michael Dell running Ubuntu on his laptop.

I find it interesting, here is a guy who is as successful as anyone out there, can pay for anything he would ever want. And clearly underneath it he is as curious as the cat. I know nothing of him other than press fodder we have all eaten way to much of.

But people, this is huge news. Many geeks out there in the linux community have jokingly talked about how Microsoft when under fire years ago by worms and the likes online had to hide behind Akamai's linux servers to keep their sites up and their constant "there is our IP in your soup" BS.

Now the latest news out there this year since Mr Dell has stepped back in and started doing the unimaginable and actually trying to talk to the customers to ask what Dell could do to improve the company image and better support their customers by giving them what they really want. Number one request on that list has been "Sell a linux based system" I am now left wondering if this is his first run with linux and is he just checking out the waters or....PERHAPS? he just might be way more in tune with what is really going on out in the world than most would have us believe.

I know in all honesty i for one, am quite surprised, I'm totally forced to rethink many things. I also am running (K)Ubuntu and upon hearing everything he is running on his Ubuntu system at least we know ...somehow...he is totally clued in.

Linux, coming to a dell near you, and much sooner than you might think? WOW. The times they are a changing. Originally my biggest worry was if the only choices would have been the paid for versions of linux, while this would still be a huge improvement i can not even begin to say how surprised i am to hear he is running a totally free system. Mr Dell has done more to redeem his companies name by my hearing that he is actually running linux... for whatever reason .... than anything else i have ever heard about them.

God i crack up reading crazy shit like this 3, then again, i don't have kids. You know three things instantly upon reading this one though

A: Someone or Many someones are so fired.
B: This doesn't work to well on anyones resume.
C: Someone obviously didn't like their job.

So here is the story.

Hard-Core Porn Interrupts News Show

(03-14) 18:29 PDT Mesa, Ariz. (AP) -- A cable news program was temporarily replaced with hard-core pornography, shocking viewers who had been watching a health show featuring former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw. The incident Monday night on KPPX-TV was "an act of human sabotage" at the Phoenix-area station, said ION Television, which operates the station. "We have launched a rigorous investigation, and any implicated employees will face strict disciplinary action and termination," ION Media Networks spokeswoman Leslie Monreal said in a statement. Brenda Schodt, of Chandler, said she was shocked to look up and see graphic sex acts on her television screen. "Maybe five or 10 minutes into the show there was no volume," Schodt said. "I thought it was the TV, but when I looked up, there were these images." ION Television, based in West Palm Beach, Fla., declined to say whether the pornography aired beyond the Phoenix market.

And if you think that is as bizarre as the world is don't click here and you will be safe and sound in that thought.

Hawking on vomit comet and Microsoft about to lose their lunch

Ahh, What a time we live in. 3 cools new threads..Technology has touched every aspect of our lives OR it must be a mighty big rock your living under.

First thread...Stephen Hawkings, The man who has done more for our understanding of the gravity monsters known as blackholes is going to finally get something he truly deserves, He is going to get to experience Zero G's on a ride in the Vomit Comet.

And if you think that is news, check this little tidbit out. Vista is out, Its expensive and you probably need all new Hardware to run it. But, ask yourself this, what happens when the new DELL you bought fails Microsofts Beloved Product Activation right out of the box? That is quite likely to begin happening since the Product Activation has been shattered by a new Brute Force Key Generator

AND last but not least, if you have seen vista and are already smitten, check this shit out!

Makes vista look pretty dull in comparison don't you think? and for those who do get bitten by the activation bug OR are fed up with Windows in general. Just remember, This only runs on linux but its total cost is ZERO DOLLARS!! AND it might even run on the PC you have today, although a really good video card is highly recommended.

So remember people call now operators are standing by! 25% more, new and totally improved. Look for Beryl to be included in all linux distributions within the year. Top that MS. I find it hilarious, cause they (MS) have just shot their wad with Vista and Linux comes out with something that blows it away yet again!!
