The "Game"

I ran into a friend the other night, hadn't seen him in years. Was great to catch up on things and in talking at some point he said something i am reflecting on right now. He (CM) said "Men are playing checkers, but women, they are playing chess." and at one level its totally true. But it did make me look at my relationship to or IN "The Game." Men are playing checkers, we are "Generally" logical and forward thinking. Its all about getting things done. yada yada Women are thinking things out from angles, bouncing around, calculated, all the while measuring their effect. cool, we all love them and I know I want one too.
And on some level I get both of them, kind of at least. Best way I know how to say it is im playing that 3d version of that hologram sci fi game, you already have an image of that game/map/board as you read the words. You know you don't understand anything about or how they play it or any of the rules, if it has any.

I DO know what I want, I don't think I have seen her yet though. BUT we all stuck playing our quite different games. I guess I am trying to get better at "The Game" to be able to meet more interesting people and along that way, hopefully shortly, Ill finally meet that cute tiny little (5'2"- 5'6") dark hair, carmel colored skin, goddess that already has my heart.

Then we can try to make our own rules for the game together.
